The Tennessee Self Storage Association (TNSSA) is a non-profit organization created to promote a standard of professionalism. It is made up of owner/operators and vendor members that serve the industry. As a united voice for the self-storage industry, the TNSSA is dedicated to providing the highest level of service to promote the continued growth of the Association. Our organization is affiliated with the National Self Storage Association.
Below is a list of reasons why “you” should be a part of the Association:
• The primary aim of the Association is to give each member a support system for dealing with problems such as business issues, lien law problems, public sales, property tax and manager education.
• Promote sound legislative proposals affecting our industry.
• To provide a powerful network of information to help any member and anyone who wishes to enter the self-storage industry.
• Periodic “Member Alert” reports. These reports alert owners to specific problems or issues facing the industry.
• Membership certificate for your office or facility that indicates participation in the Association.
• Copies of the Tennessee lien law and building codes for self-storage facilities.
• Legal advice and interpretation of the law is available from the legal counsel along with guidance in conducting business within the law.
